1 cup catsup
1 cup red wine vinegar
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup molasses
1 ½ teaspoons liquid smoke
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon onion powder
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil; whisking until smooth. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes, uncovered, until sauce begins to thicken.
