Simple, Easy Fudge

3 cups semisweet chocolate chips

1 cup sugar

1 can sweetened condensed milk

Pinch of salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

½ cup chopped nuts

Melt chocolate in the top of a double boiler over hot, not boiling, water.  Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients.  Spread in a generously buttered 8-inch square pan.  Chill 2 hours or until firm.  Turn fudge out onto a cutting board, cut into squares.
