½ cup brown sugar
½ cup oatmeal
6 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice
¼ cup sugar
½ tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
¼ tsp. salt
Whipped cream or ice cream
2 cups sliced apples, peaches or rhubarb
Combine brown sugar, flour, oatmeal and salt in a bowl. Cut in butter until the mixture is crumbly. Spread ½ of the mixture into the bottom of a 9×9 inch glass baking dish. Arrange fruit over the crumbs and sprinkle with lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Cover with remaining crumbs and bake in the microwave on high for 10 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
