Chef Salad

¼ cup ham, julienned
¼ cup cheddar cheese, diced
1 hard-boiled egg, sliced
1 T. minced onion
¼ green pepper, chopped
½ carrot, pared and grated
¼ tomato cubed
1 head iceberg lettuce
¼ cucumber, scored and sliced thin

Core and wash the head of iceberg lettuce. Cut into quarters and thoroughly drain on paper towels. Prepare all other ingredients as stated in the recipe. Make sure to wash all vegetables before preparing. Build a chef salad with toppings of your choice. Top with salad dressings of your choice. Serve with a basket of crackers.
