Steak Chili

2 tablespoons canola oil

3 pounds beef round steak

2 cups low sodium beef broth

8 ounces no-salt added tomatoes

4 ounces canned chili peppers

¾ cup beer

2 tablespoons chili powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

1 tablespoon cumin

Heat oil in a skillet and saute beef until done; drain well.  Put beef and broth in a large pot and bring to a slow simmer.  Add remaining ingredients and simmer slowly for about 1 ½ hours, or until meat is tender.
