Taco Dip

½ lb. ground beef
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
½ cup Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 tbsp. taco seasoning
1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce
2 dashes Tabasco sauce

Break apart the ground beef in a ½ quart glass casserole dish and microwave uncovered for 4-5 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes to break apart the meat. Drain the grease and stir in the garlic salt, tomato sauce, taco seasoning, and tabasco sauce and microwave for 1 minute. Stir the cheeses into the mixture and microwave for 1-2 more minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until heated through and cheese melts. Serve with taco chips.
