Jalapeno Cream Cheese Spread

1 (8-oz.) package cream cheese

1 (1-inch) piece cinnamon stick

½ cup jalapeno jelly

1 (1-inch) square red bell pepper, if desired

2 tablespoons dairy sour cream, if desired

Cut cream cheese in half diagonally.  Turn 1 piece over and arrange both pieces on small serving plate with long straight sides touching to form triangular “tree.”  Place cinnamon stick in center of bottom edge to form “trunk.”  Just before serving, spoon jelly over tree, allowing some to flow down sides to plate.  Using 1-inch star canape cutter, cut star from bell pepper square; place at top of tree.  Pipe sour cream diagonally across tree to form garland.  Serve with crackers.
