Wacky Cake

1 1/3 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 cup oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 cup water

Sift flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt into an 8-inch square or a 9-inch round glass baking pan. Make 3 holes; pour vanilla into one, oil into a second, and vinegar into the third. Pour water over all and stir well with a fork until completely blended. Smooth batter in pan. Microwave on high for about 7 minutes, turning ¼ turn every minute for the first 4 minutes. Surface may appear moist when cake is done, but no dough areas remain.
