Maraschino Cherry Bread

2 cups flour

1 cup sugar

3 teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

2 eggs

¼ cup maraschino cherry juice

¾ cup milk

3 tablespoons oil

¼ teaspoon almond extract

1 cup maraschino cherries, quartered

Put dry ingredients in bowl; beat in eggs, milk, juice and oil and flavoring. Beat until smooth.  Stir in cherries. Bake at 350° for 1 hour in a loaf pan.
