Garlic Cheddar Biscuits

1 cup flour

1 ½ tsp. baking powder

½ tsp. salt

2 T. margarine

½ cup milk

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together in a bowl, and cut in the margarine until coarse crumbs appear.  Make a well in the center and add the shredded cheddar cheese and milk and stir with a fork until ingredients are moistened and form a “drop” batter.  Drop biscuits onto an ungreased baking sheet, 1-inch apart and bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 450°. Brush biscuits with a garlic butter glaze.
