1 cup sugar
1⁄2 cup oil
2 eggs
Zest of 1 medium orange
1 teaspoon fresh orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
1⁄2 cup flour
1⁄8 teaspoon salt
1⁄4 teaspoon baking powder
1⁄2 cup cocoa powder
Preheat oven to 325. Mix together oil and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, zest, and juice. Mix well. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Pour into greased 8×8 baking pan. Bake 20-23 minutes until done. Allow to sit at room temperature at least 30 minutes before cutting.
