3 c. crisp rice cereal
1 c. salted peanuts
½ c. sugar
½ c. light corn syrup
½ c. peanut butter
½ t. vanilla
Mix together cereal and peanuts, then set aside. In a saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full rolling boil. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Immediately pour the syrup over the cereal mixture, stirring to coat. Pat evenly into buttered 8-inch square pan. Cool. Cut into bars.
